Do you think Halo deserves the hype?

like what i mean is for example i was reading about Haze and they said you could do things like give the soldiers a nectar overdoe so they would kill there teamates by attaching a nectar pack to a grenade and throwing it at a mantel soldier but from what i have heard halo is just a plain old run and gun and the only thing that makes it defferent from some run of the mill fps with a unoriginal story line is the moin huge hype it quick frankly doesnt deserve,i think people say halo is the best cuze other people say that and people will say halo is the best pwner even if they havent played it cuze they heard it was a good,this is my personal opinion feel free to comment,
