How would i change this improper fraction into a mixed number?

you would have to find the highest common denominator ( the highest number that goes into both numbers exactly in this case it'd be 3 so it would look liker this 21/18 = 7/6 which is top heavy so you would then cancel it down to how many times 6 goes into 7 and the answer is once and coz your dealing with 6 ths it would be 1 whole one and 1/6 left over.
