Should I dye my hair red?

I love red hair. More like auburn. I have dyed my hair red before and loved it! I feel like I am in need for a change for the new year. My question is: My husband's ex was a natural redhead and well, we have had some problems with his feeling for her in the beginning of our relationship. this probably sounds ridiculous, but I am afraid it would remind him of her. I know, I have problems, Im kinda looking for some reinforcing words. thanks!!!!!!!
