I killed a bird and feel really bad?

I had the same situation once. Once I killed the bird they dont come around much. Now i just shoot near them not at them.. dont feel to bad.. Circle of life.. I would eat it ( not kidding I would O_O ) think about it, if u need to surive animals r all around u. or bury it and say a prayer.. I buried the bird I killed.. as long as you didnt mean it, its ok.. :)
