Trying to get my dog into acting?

Hes is (in my opinion) a very photogenic dog and he is very obedient and I could use some extra cash so I figured I might get my dog a job in either advertisement or less seldom movie making (most animals in movies are animated these days so I don't plan on that being easy to find). Ive tried searching the web by using "pet careers" "jobs for dogs" "acting for dogs" and any other combination you can think of those words and all I come up with is PEOPLE looking for careers involving animals. I have considered dog shows but Im not that good of a trainer. I suppose if anyone has some tips for dog shows, that would be help full as well.
