What does a mean if a college is Religious affiliation: Lutheran?

i am not lutheran but i like everything else about this school. what does this school do that is differnet becuase it is lutheran affiliation? how would it affect me if i am not very religious at all? and can i even apply to this school? will they not accecpt me because im not lutheran?
