What is the strangest thing you unexpectedly found in your kitchen?

I had made hot soapy dishwater and was letting the dishes soak while I finished some other house work..A while later I put my hands in the dishwater to grab an item and pulled out a small MOUSE!! After my initial scream that Im sure the neighbors heard, I scooped the mouse out with paper towels, told it that's what it deserved for going swiming without a life preserver and proceeded to drain the water and rewash everything in scalding soapy bleach water! It wasn't like having a gator in the kitchen, but for me the mouse was just as bad! My daughter loaned me her cat for a couple days afterward to help me find where the mice were coming in and then my landlord came over to seal the openings, so I hope thats the end of that!
