What type of animal is cheetah?

It is a member of the Felidae family and the scientific name is Acinonyx Jubatus. It is the only living member of the genus Acinonyx. It is a carnivore and mainly eats the Tompson's Gazelle and can run to 70 mph. Unlike other felines, it doesn't have retractable claws as it uses them for traction while running. Other than their usually color, they can be reddish or a blueish gray, but those aren't as common.
