How big is the universe?

I just started thinking about space and realized is there a stoping point in the whole universe where there is a wall and it ends? i dont understand if we send an spaceship straight up will it ever stop at a certain point? i just dont understand if the universe is infinity big or however you say it. like are there walls or something around the whole universe to stop us from going any further?
